The artist within me: A Journey of Self-Expression and Healing
Course Description:
"The Artist Within Me" was a transformative 10-week workshop that culminated in a Pop-Up art exhibition at the Green House in Factoria. Over the course of the workshop, 10 beautiful women gathered to share their stories and embark on a journey of self-discovery through art.
The workshop began with participants learning to identify and create patterns, exploring the nuances of color, and shifting their perspective to see the world through their eyes rather than their brains. Each session was filled with heartfelt discussions, creative exercises, and moments of profound insight.
Throughout the workshop, the stories and dedications shared by each artist were truly mesmerizing, reflecting a range of emotions including love, pain, and longing. Participants found solace and empowerment in the artistic process, using the tools provided to bring forth what was inside of them all along.
As teachers, Tamar Alsberg and Sheli Hadari witnessed the transformative impact of the workshop firsthand, receiving just as much as they gave. The journey of self-expression and healing undertaken by each participant served as a testament to the power of art to connect, heal, and inspire.
